We're very happy to attend the product launch of our valued Malaysian partner, MEVB, at the Encore Melaka, where the latest electric two-wheelers were showcased. The Chief Minister of Malacca, YAB Datuk Seri Utama Ab Rauf Bin Yusoh, presided over the event and praised the introduction of eco-friendly vehicles to Malaysia, noting their alignment with the country's goals for sustainable transportation and carbon neutrality by 2050.
In his speech, the Chief Minister highlighted that close to 50,000 electric vehicles have already been registered nationwide, with over 100 of these in Melaka. He emphasized that the use of electric vehicles plays a crucial role in promoting low-carbon mobility among Malaysians, consistent with the MADANI government’s aspiration for a carbon-neutral future by 2050. "This effort aligns with our state's mission to make Melaka a sustainable state by 2035 under the Melakaku Maju Jaya 2035 Strategic Plan," he said.
The Chief Minister also remarked that the growing investment in electric vehicle production and infrastructure would stimulate economic growth, create new job opportunities, and encourage further investments. LUYUAN’s participation in the Malaysian market, alongside MEVB, supports these initiatives by offering energy-efficient and innovative transportation solutions.
LUYUAN’s electric two-wheelers are expected to contribute to Malaysia's long-term goals for environmental sustainability, reinforcing the brand’s dedication to providing advanced green mobility solutions.
