On October 28, LUYUAN Group's "Annual Production 2 Million Units Electric Two-Wheeler Intelligent Central Control Module Construction Project" was officially groundbreaking in Hangzhou. The event marks LUYUAN's formal entry into a new phase of "global intelligent manufacturing + R&D-driven” development.
The project carries a total investment of $34 million, covers an area of 11,549 square meters, and is scheduled to commence production in 2028. Located in Hangzhou's core digital-economy district, the project will leverage cutting-edge technologies such as AI, IoT, and the concentration of high-quality talent, to build a hub for intelligent control technology that integrates R&D innovation, technology incubation, and industrial collaboration. By deeply integrating with the local intelligent tech ecosystem, the project will provide core support for LUYUAN's deepening of all-scenario active mobility and the global marke expansion.
Strategic Vision: Leveraging Intelligent Technologies to Meet All-Scenario Active Mobility Needs
In his speech, LUYUAN Group Chairman Ni Jie emphasized that this project marks a new starting point for LUYUAN to uphold its founding mission of "building the enterprise through technology" and to align with national strategies. By harnessing Hangzhou's robust digital-economy ecosystem, this new innovation hub will become a pivotal driver for breakthroughs in core technologies—accelerating the industry's transformation from electrification to intelligentization and delivering safer, more convenient, and smarter mobility experiences for consumers.
Officials from the Yuhang District of Hangzhou noted that the project is highly aligned with the city's strategic direction of building high-end manufacturing clusters.
"The government will continue to optimize the business environment, support enterprises in strengthening their innovation capabilities, and help Hangzhou develop into an intelligent manufacturing city," they stated.

Upon completion, the project will fully implement intelligent R&D and production management systems, creating a modern smart office and technology R&D center characterized by both high efficiency and superior quality. While enhancing product safety and reliability, it will further strengthen supply-chain resilience and responsiveness, continuously empowering value enhancement and collaborative innovation across the entire industrial chain.
The base will actively integrate into Hangzhou's intelligent technology ecosystem to build LUYUAN's "Intelligent Technology Innovation Center" and "Global Smart Product R&D Platform".
